We appreciate all who turned out for this annual Mother's Day rally. The pro-death folks were anticipating our turnout. They had many of the members of NOW (National Organization for Women) join them. The pro-death forces are definitely energized by the pro-life/Christian apathy and the political climate. The innocent unborn are going to die by even greater numbers if one of the two Democratic contenders is elected President. Senator Obama has declared that his first act as president will be to sign a Freedom of Choice bill to enshrine abortion rights into law and to fund abortion with taxpayer money. Of course, he cannot do this alone. But if there is a democratic sweep he will have all the power he needs. Please be certain all your friends and family realize that this illustrious gentleman even voted against the 'Born Alive Child's Protection Act.' Apparently, he is totally content with doctors smothering, drowning or otherwise letting a baby who survives an abortion be left on the clinic counter until it stops breathing. Both he and Hillary voted against the ban on partial-birth abortion. How many pro-lifers will rationalize their vote for one of these baby-killers?

Some of us had an interesting discussion (as others were departing) with a 55 year old man who was standing watch at the clinic to see if his 31 year old ex-girlfriend would show up at the clinic. He was asking for advice, did not want to see the baby killed. He said he had called the CPC 5 times, tried to talk the lady into letting him keep and raise the baby. Said she had 3 already. Did not want their affair at work to become public knowledge. Now wants nothing to do with him (the father) since he is bent on not allowing the abortion. The only advice I could give for a lady this intent on killing her child was to suggest to her that she look at the ultra-sound first, see the little one in her womb. Then Jim and I turned him over to the ladies. Please pray for this man, woman, and their unborn baby.

The breakfast at St. Martin's was absolutely outstanding and a great opportunity to support a CPC. Thanks to all the volunteers and donators.

The two kids on top of the building to take pictures were arrested by the police and taken into custody. Since they had the clinic's permission to be there, we suspect the police found something on them.
